Job summary

Core & Main is seeking a dependable delivery driver to service Grimes, IA and nearby communities. You will load, transport, and deliver materials to customers, ensuring accurate tickets and on-time arrivals while upholding safety standards.

This role requires a valid CDL A or B, at least one year of delivery experience, and the ability to interact professionally with customers. You will perform DOT inspections, plan efficient routes, and assist warehouse teams as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL A or CDL B and current driving experience.
• 1 year of on-the-job commercial driving experience.
• Prior delivery/loading/unloading experience preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and assist with unloading.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers at delivery.
• Load truck with daily deliveries and plan efficient routes.
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Maintain accurate vehicle logs and delivery documentation.
• Support warehouse staff as needed.
