Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in West Chester, OH for a local home-daily route with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. The role uses box trucks (16', 22', 26') and involves loading/unloading freight, pallet jack use, and a 40+ hour work week with no weekend shifts.

Training is provided and Safety is emphasized. Expect strong driver support, 24/7 roadside assistance, and benefits after 30 days, including medical/dental/vision and PTO from day one.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable driving experience
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Must have verifiable driving experience in relevant equipment
• 6 months experience in past 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years or 5 years in last 10 years
• Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check incl. Drug/Alcohol verification (last 3 years)
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a vehicle and comply with safety regulations
• Maintain accurate records
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer
• Detect and minimize safety hazards
• Other tasks as assigned
