Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is hiring a CDL Driver to deliver materials on local routes with daily home time. You will operate up to 26’ trucks, perform pre-trip inspections, unload at sites, and ensure on-time deliveries while upholding safety and customer service standards.

The role requires a valid CDL (Class A or B) and at least one year of commercial driving experience. A team-oriented mindset and ability to learn forklift operation are important.

Qualifications

• Possess valid Class A or Class B CDL.
• Minimum 1-year consistent commercial driving experience.
• Works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates company vehicles, including up to 26’ trucks, in DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer service.
• Unload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slips.
• Ensure deliveries are handled professionally and courteously, representing the company positively.
• Basic understanding and knowledge of forklift operation and other equipment.
• Must attend required meetings related to material delivery and company operations.
• Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
• Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other equipment for multiple hours a day.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate forklift and other company vehicles; use dollies, flat carts, and rock carts.
