Job summary

Ferguson is hiring a CDL A driver at our Conyers, GA location. Mon-Fri, 6 AM–3 PM, with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $25/hour, with higher rates based on experience. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO and more.

Responsibilities include delivering materials using pallet jack, inspecting and loading, handling returns, and supporting warehouse operations. Must meet CDL/NCCCO requirements and pass pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL Class A.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current NCCCO-accredited Boom Truck Certification required.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly, ensuring ticketed material is delivered.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit requests.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, refuel as needed, report issues.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with pulling and preparing orders, receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material.
• Overtime may be required.
• Adhere to safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening.
