Qualifications

• CDL driver’s license required and must be kept current.
• Background checks must be acceptable.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to operate manual transmission trucks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and understand instructions from Dispatcher, Shipping Supervisor, and external customers.
• Maintain high customer respect and meet their needs.
• Communicate and relay information to others.
• Maintain a clean MVR within company guidelines.
• Follow billing and manifest procedures.
• Transport and deliver materials to customer locations.
• Comply with DOT rules and regulations governing truck operations.
• Report conditions affecting operations.
• Maintain accurate DOT Logs.
• Deliver product as scheduled.
• Assist in loading and unloading.
