Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a Local CDL Driver to operate commercial vehicles over 26,001 lbs GVWR, delivering and picking up merchandise in a local route. The role requires a Class A CDL and complies with FMCSA regulations, including daily DVIRs and cargo securement.

Hours are from 6:00am to 3:00pm, with home every day and a strong safety culture. Benefits include paid training, PTO, holidays, 401(k), health/vision/life and disability insurance, as well as bonus programs and stipends.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must pass a road test and meet FMCSA driver qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles over 26,001 lbs GVWR to deliver or pick up goods to local or regional destinations.
• Load and unload as needed, follow safety procedures and secure cargo.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain DVIR records per FMCSA requirements.
• Read bills of lading, manifest details, and ensure proper receipts/signatures.
