Job summary

Lazer Logistics is seeking a Local Yard Driver to stay in one location, move trailers within the yard, and perform drop-and-hook operations. You will work in a safe, controlled environment with no long routes or customer deliveries.

Expect a predictable schedule with home daily hours and weekly pay. Starting pay is $25.50 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours, plus referral and stay bonuses, and opportunities for advancement in a safety-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record with experience operating tractor-trailers.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform pre/post-trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers within the yard and between dock doors.
• Perform drop and hook operations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation.
