Job summary

Central Transport in Evansville, IN is hiring Local Pick Up and Delivery Drivers. You will operate in a home-daily local route, delivering freight on time and damage-free, and unloading trailers at the end of each shift.

We offer industry-leading pay and benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, company HSA contributions, paid holidays and vacations, and life insurance. HazMat or willingness to obtain is required, along with a valid CDL A and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• No DUI in last 5 years (1 in lifetime).
• Must pass DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight to customers on time and damage-free.
• Unload trailer at end of daily route.
• Be home daily by working on local routes.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 Months of recent tractor-trailer experience


• HazMat and Tanker endorsement or the willingness to obtain within 60 days


• Acceptable motor vehicle record


• No DUI’s within the last 5 years (No more than 1 in a lifetime)


• Ability to pass a DOT Drug Screen AND hair follicle test
