Job summary

SRS Building Products – Plymouth, MI is seeking a CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials within a 200-mile radius without overnight travel. You will inspect vehicles, verify inventory, and coordinate with customers for proper material placement while maintaining high service standards.

Qualified candidates have a valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes, clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Prior DOT/OSHA knowledge and forklift experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Experience in commercial driving and knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate forklifts safely.
• Must be 18+ (21+ interstate/hazmat), pass background checks, drug tests, and E-Verify.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A/B vehicles within a 200-mile radius, with no overnight travel.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, ensure damage-free deliveries.
• Coordinate with customers for material placement and document deliveries with photos.
• Support yard operations and uphold OSHA safety standards in a clean, safe work environment.
