Job summary

SRS Distribution is seeking a CDL Driver to deliver building materials to job sites within a tight security and safety framework. The role emphasizes professionalism, teamwork, and responsiveness while maintaining inventories and documenting deliveries.

Applicants should hold CDL A or B with air brakes, have a clean driving record, and be able to operate forklifts. 1–2 years of experience is preferred, and bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A or B with air brakes endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Must operate forklifts safely, work in varied conditions, and communicate effectively in English.
• Candidates must be 18+ (21+ interstate) pass background checks, drug tests, and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification.
• 1-2 years of relevant commercial driving experience.
• Hazmat endorsement is a plus and willingness to work with fleet management systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections, verify inventory accuracy, and ensure secure, damage-free deliveries.
• Assess job site conditions to prevent hazards, collaborate with customers for material placement, and document deliveries with photos per company policy.
• CDL Drivers must be physically capable of long hours driving and handling materials up to 100 lbs; loading/unloading with forklifts or manually.
