Job summary

Qualifications

• CDL license is required; hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must meet DOT physical/medical requirements and pass screening.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer using forklift or hand truck.
• Operate semi-truck with one or two trailers per state laws.
• Transport loads to destinations following traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform standard DOT truck inspections.
• Complete company and DOT paperwork.
• Prepare shipping bills of lading and obtain necessary signatures.
• Maintain related records.
• Check daily oil, water, gasoline, and air in tires.
• Report maintenance malfunctions to the maintenance department.
• Other duties as assigned.
