Job summary

Viking Electric in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a Delivery Driver Class B CDL for full-time, local routes. Start times are early, with pay ranging $25.00–$30.00 per hour depending on experience, and daily home time.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load shipments, make local deliveries, and assist customers with unloading while representing the company professionally. Must have Class B CDL and be 21+.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license - Class B CDL.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift packages up to 85 pounds.
• Ability to pass and maintain DOT physical.
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers).
• Basic English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (training provided).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver essential electrical products from the warehouse to customers.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and load materials for the day.
• Make local deliveries and contact customers on arrival.
• Assist customers with unloading and building relationships with customers.
