Job summary

MCG Tran in Ottawa, KS is seeking drivers to haul grain and fertilizer from Ottawa to customer sites across KS, with 15-16 round trips weekly. You will operate fertilizer applicators with farm staff assistance and perform live load/unload.

This role requires Hazmat within 90 days, steel-toed boots reimbursed, and you’ll work Monday to Friday, home daily with start times around 5:00–6:00 am. Weekly pay is $1,750. Equipment is assigned; you’ll leave equipment at each account during time off.

Job description

• Drivers will haul grain and fertilizer from Ottawa, KS to customer sites in primarily KS (15-16 round-trip loads)
• Drivers will operate fertilizer applicators at farms but will have assistance from farm staff
• Live load/unload

Special Requirements

• Hazmat required within 90 days
• Steel toed boots required (account will reimburse)

Equipment

• Automatic day cabs
• Mostly feeder trailers that gravity load
• Trucks are assigned - no slip seating
• Equipment must be left at the account for time off

Pay and Shift

• Monday to Friday shift
• Home Daily
• Start time between 5am to 6am
• $1,750.00 weekly pay
