Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking a CDL Driver to safely operate commercial vehicles, deliver products to customer locations, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries while complying with DOT regulations.

You will inspect vehicles, manage load/unload, maintain records, and support safety on job sites. A valid CDL (Class A or B), current DOT medical certification, FMCSA registration, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required. Prior experience is not necessary.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• Completion of FMCSA Registration.
• Ability to continuously lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds.
• Must be 21 years old if the job involves interstate travel or transporting hazardous materials.
• A clean driving record (no hit & runs and no DWI/DUI in the last 18 months).
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance and OSHA safety regulations.
• Basic computer skills to record deliveries and track inventory on a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Follow DOT rules and maintain a clean driving record.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips.
• Load, unload, and organize orders at customer sites and branch locations.
• Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
• Review purchase orders and delivery tickets to confirm routes and inventory.
• Support job site safety by reporting hazards.
• Take photos of delivered products as required by policy.
• Keep records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts.
