Job summary

Clarks White Glove Delivery is hiring a local CDL Class A driver for a dedicated appliance account in Kansas City. You will run a day cab on a 53' dry van, delivering to retail stores and returning home each night.

This is a physical role requiring unloading heavy appliances, lifting with pallet jacks, and operating in all weather. Expect 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with overtime after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A is required.
• 2+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to safely lift and move heavy appliances.

Responsibilities

• Pickup loaded 53' trailers at Kansas City warehouse.
• Make multiple retail store deliveries per day.
• Unload appliances at each stop using pallet jack or by hand.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs (ELD).
• Represent Clarks professionally with retail partners.

Job description

Clarks White Glove Delivery is hiring a local CDL Class A driver for a new dedicated appliance account in Kansas City. You will run a company day cab and 53' dry van, picking up full trailers at our KC warehouse and delivering to retail stores around the metro. Steady, dedicated work with the same stores every day, and you are home every night.

IMPORTANT - THIS IS A PHYSICAL JOB: This is not a no-touch or drop-and-hook position. The driver is responsible for unloading the full trailer at every store, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges and other large appliances. Expect to be on your feet, pulling heavy pallet jacks, and lifting and maneuvering heavy freight throughout the day, in all weather conditions. Please only apply if you are comfortable with hands-on, physically demanding work.

Pay: $30/hour, overtime after 40 hours

Schedule: Monday through Friday, full time, about 10-hour days
