MedTrans is the private fleet delivering lifesaving medical products to commercial and residential customers, with over 2,100 trucks and 50 distribution centers nationwide, offering 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Driver operates a Class A vehicle on local routes in New York, with starting pay of $31 per hour and a $3,000 joining bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years tractor trailer driving experience.
• Class A CDL; licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Must meet Federal/State CMV requirements.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Willing to drive and deliver in New York City.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from Medline facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle on local routes to customer destinations.
• Unload and deliver products, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person customer support and deliver documentation.
• Communicate route or schedule changes to dispatchers for safety.
• Maintain travel and cargo logs per regulations.
• Inspect vehicle to ensure safe operation and fuel levels.

Our fleet consists of 2,100+ trucks that feature newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers nationally and provide 1-day shipping to 95% of the United States.

The Driver is responsible for operating a Class A vehicle to transport life-saving medical products to our local customers. The Driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries.

Job Description

STARTING PAY IS $31/HR FOR ALL NEW HIRES

JOINING BONUS: $3,000

Responsibilities:

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. Abide by Medline's safety regulations, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
• Unload and deliver product at our customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to the customer – addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team regarding necessary adjustments to delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued vehicle use.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years tractor trailer driving experience
• Class A CDL; Licensed to operate assigned vehicle.
• Ability to meet Federal and State requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Willing to drive and delivery in New York City.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$26.75 - $38.75 Hourly

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
