Job summary

Lansing Building Products is seeking a Delivery Driver who will split time between loading/unloading and delivering to job sites. The role requires a CDL-B license, clean driving record, and forklift experience.

You will represent Lansing and provide excellent customer service while maintaining the warehouse and assisting with related tasks. Located near Billings, MT, the position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with typical start times around 7:00 AM and end around 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL-B (or A) license is required.
• Minimum of one year driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Moffett forklift experience (will train).
• Forklift certification and experience with a piggyback truck (will train).
• Ability to lift boxes weighing 80+ pounds.
• Experience with building products is helpful.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• No DUI/DWI within the last 5 years.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Hiring Radius: within 50 miles of Billings, MT or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lives the mission statement.
• Acts as a front-line Lansing representative with outstanding customer service.
• Splits time between deliveries and warehouse.
• Uses a Moffett forklift to make deliveries.
• Interacts with customers and job-site crews.
• Provides exceptional service to Lansing customers and strives to improve that service.
• Keeps the warehouse clean and orderly.
• May perform other duties (cycle counts, inventory, inside sales, etc.).
