Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Miami, FL is seeking Class B CDL Truck Drivers to join the local team. The role offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

This position features a local route with 48+ hours per week, pay of $25.00 per hour plus overtime, and paid training. Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional half Saturdays; home daily on a 26ft straight truck/flatbed setup.

Qualifications

• Minimum 22 years old.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 12 months in past 3 years OR 2 years in past 5 years OR 5 years in past 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a commercial vehicle and comply with safety & DOT Regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight if required by customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.
