Airgas is hiring a CDL B Microbulk Driver for Indianapolis, IN. The role involves delivering CO2 products on a daily route, assisting with hose hookups and tank transfers, and maintaining safety and compliance across the fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements.
• Hazmat is REQUIRED; candidates must have it.
• Maintain valid driver's license, medical card & endorsements.
• Limited traffic violations: max 2 in last 3 years (or similar combination).
• No DUI in last 7 years; able to work drug-free environment.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs and move 125+ lbs with assistance.
• 1 year CDL driving experience in last 5 years or certificate from trucking school in last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver CO2 products and related supplies on assigned routes (roughly 15–20+ deliveries).
• Assist with transfer of product from truck to customer tanks via hose hookup.
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle safety reviews per DOT standards.
• Load Microbulk tanks and assist with filling customer-owned tanks.
• Collaborate with field service techs on CO2 tank installations/repairs.
• Maintain DOT, SAFECOR and Airgas documents for compliance.
• Ensure route truck safety and timely maintenance.

Airgas is looking for a CDL B Microbulk Driver; ideally, you bring X endorsements to support our National Carbonation Division. In this role, you will contribute to roughly 15 – 20+ deliveries of CO2 products and related supplies to established customers along assigned routes while supporting each unit to advance our goal of operating excellently and sustainably.

• Support the transfer of product from the Airgas truck to the customer tank through hose hook up.
• Support the safety of our fleet by reviewing vehicles before and after use according to DOT and company maintenance checklists.
• Support the loading of Microbulk tanks and filling customer-owned Microbulk tanks as assigned.
• Partner with field service technicians with CO2 tank installations & repair work to support our shared goals.
• Collaborate to maintain DOT, SAFECOR, and Airgas vehicle documents, helping our team stay accurate and compliant.
• Nurture the safe working order of the route truck and ensure that routine and required maintenance occurs on a timely basis.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker & Airbrake endorsements
• Hazmat IS REQUIRED. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE THEIR HAZMAT
• Maintain appropriate driver’s license, medical card & endorsements
• No more than two (2) traffic convictions: OR two (2) at-fault accident in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years
• Must be able to work in a drug-free environment
• Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or be able able to provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months.

• Hazmat and Tanker CDL experience
