Job summary

Silvi Materials is hiring Concrete Truck Drivers in Englishtown, NJ. You will operate 80,000-lb ready-mix trucks, ensure timely and accurate deliveries, and perform vehicle inspections per DOT guidelines.

The role requires a valid CDL-A or CDL-B, a current DOT Medical Card, and the ability to work a variable overnight schedule. Excellent benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid commercial driver’s license CDL-A or CDL-B and have a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Able to work a variable schedule with start times between 12:00 am and 9:00 am; daily plant call-ins at 4/5 pm.
• 1 year of preferred driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality and safety standards while ensuring timely and accurate delivery of concrete.
• Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with federal and state regulations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections per DOT guidelines; report required repairs.
• Load and pour concrete using ladders, main chutes, and extension chutes; navigate areas with heavy traffic.
• Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records per company policies and regulations.
• Read delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch about deliveries.
• Wash residual concrete and materials from the truck and barrel.
