Job summary

Consolidated Pipe & Supply is seeking a Warehouse Driver to perform local deliveries from our warehouse vehicle, with general warehouse duties such as order picking and pulling. Forklift experience is a plus and a minimum 25 lb lift is required. A clean driving record and medical card are required; post-offer drug screening will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and a medical card. Pre-employment drug screening will be required post offer.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Class A CDL preferred. Experience in the water/sewer utilities field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and work procedures.
• Prepare receipts for load picked up. May maintain truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
• Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
• May load and unload truck; inspect truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water; and/or perform emergency roadside repairs, such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
• Cleans work area or vehicle.
• Performs other duties as needed.
