Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Richmond, CA — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

Local home daily routes, 45+ hours per week, paid training, with start times 5:00 AM or 10:30 PM. You’ll deliver beverages to Sacramento, operate straight trucks and day cabs, and receive comprehensive equipment training and nationwide support from Ryder.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL with valid endorsements.
• Minimum 9 months experience in past 3 years, or 2 years in last 5 years, or 5 years in last 10 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass Ryder drug and background checks.
• DOT physical and road test required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Operates tractors (straight truck/day cab) and supports local on-site operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
