Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL with endorsements as required for the position.
• Minimum 21 years of age and able to pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Background and motor vehicle check including drug/alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Must pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• 9 months of experience within the past 3 years, OR 2 years within the past 5 OR 5 years within the past 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions; ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely handling and maneuvering tractor trailers on the yard and on public roads.
• Complying with safety and DOT regulations, ongoing training, and customer service.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs; driving with focus on safety.
