Job summary

Ryder System is seeking a Dedicated SOLO Class A CDL driver for a local home daily route in Yuma, AZ. Expect 50+ hours weekly with a guaranteed base pay and sign‑on bonuses to start the relationship.

Responsibilities include delivering SOLO cargo to CA & AZ, operating a Day Cab with a 53' Dry Van, and maintaining logs in compliance with regulations. Availability for weekends and various routes is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL with relevant endorsements; verifiable experience: 9 months within past 3 years; 2 years within last 5 years; 5 years within last 10 years.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor vehicle check, DOT physical and road test.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SOLO cargo to CA & AZ on a local home daily route.
• Operate a Day Cab tractor and 53' Dry Van; manual transmission.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules.
• Identify and minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist customers with loading/unloading as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
