Job summary

Drake Enterprises, Inc. is hiring for a 2nd shift driver responsible for transporting parts and materials between Drake headquarters and customers and suppliers. The role focuses on local deliveries and pickups, with a 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. schedule.

The driver must load, transport, and unload, review orders, and ensure accuracy. A clean driving record, DOT-compliant credentials, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A license valid in Michigan.
• DOT Card required.
• 5 years experience required.
• Clean driving record mandatory.
• Hilo experience required.

Responsibilities

• Loading, transporting, delivering and picking up items in a safe, timely manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete.
• Making payments for items at the time of pick up when necessary.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Make boxes, peeling stickers and breaking down boxes as needed.
• Assist the warehouse with packaging duties as needed.
