Herman N Logistics seeks a CDL-A driver for a local, home-daily route in the Chicago area. You will deliver retail freight on a dedicated fleet, with mostly drop-and-hook freight and automatic trucks.

The role requires a six-day workweek with night driving and a nightly home time routine. Longest round trip ~91 miles; up to two loads per day, with pallet-jack unloading paid when required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
• Reliable transportation for daily commuting.
• Ability to work a six-day schedule and night shifts.
• Ability to perform occasional pallet-jack unloading.
• No SAP drivers.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver retail freight on local routes in the Chicago area.
• Longest round trip is approximately 91 miles.
• Complete a minimum of two loads per day.
• Approximately 95% drop-and-hook freight.
• Approximately 5% of deliveries require pallet-jack unloading.
• Pallet-jack unloading is paid.
