Job summary

Ben E. Keith Company is seeking a Driver - Shuttle Doubles DOT in Fredericksburg to safely move loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empties while meeting delivery windows.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements, at least 1 year of DOT driving experience, a clean driving record, and ability to operate 28–48 ft trailers. Drug and physical screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass required drug and physical screening.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience.
• Valid state-issued Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Ability to operate 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft. trailers with tandem axle tractors.
• High School Diploma or GED, work experience may substitute for education.
• Understand and comply with dash camera use and driver consent forms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return empty trailers to the branch.
• Maintain delivery time windows.
• Immediately communicate problems with supervisor.
• Perform duties following the company’s safety standards.
• Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, adhering to dress code and cleanliness standards.
