Job summary

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking a Semi Driver in Texas. The role involves local driving, operating a semi, loading and unloading heavy equipment, and ensuring customer safety and satisfaction. The position is on-site with a schedule Monday–Friday and occasional on-call shifts.

Applicants must have a Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement and a valid DOT Medical Card, plus at least 2 years of semi experience. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k), and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement and DOT Medical Card.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a semi, preferably as a wrecker or flatbed driver hauling heavy construction equipment.
• Must have physical agility to load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.

Responsibilities

• Operate local semi equipment and drive to job sites.
• Load, offload, and secure equipment with chains and binders.
• Instruct customers on safe and proper operation of the equipment and complete paperwork to ensure customer satisfaction.
