Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking local Class A experienced port drivers to join our team. You should have at least 6 months of manual tractor-trailer work, be able to go to Long Beach, Moreno Valley, LA and So-Cal locations, and be prepared for a home-daily schedule with 10+ hour days.

Shifts run AM with Monday–Friday availability; drivers are paid per move with weekly pay, and a flat rate structure based on zip codes. Benefits include 401(k), health/dental/vision coverage, sick pay and holidays.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required with 6 months manual tractor trailer experience.
• Rail experience is a plus.
• Chassis and container handling experience preferred.
• No major accidents or tickets in the last 3 years; hazmat is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Home daily.
• Drop and hook, no touch freight.
• Operate tractor-trailer per routes in So-Cal area.
• Follow safety and regulatory guidelines.
