Job summary

SRS Building Products, a division of SRS Distribution Inc., seeks a CDL Driver & Crane Operator to deliver building materials across a 200-mile radius from the Asheville branch. You will safely drive, crane- and forklift-operate, inspect vehicles, verify inventory, and ensure on-site safety while maintaining strong customer relations.

Must hold a valid CDL with air brakes, follow DOT/OSHA rules, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.
• Proficiency in performing routine maintenance and safety checks.
• Knowledge of basic mechanical systems.
• Experience operating conveyor belts, knuckle booms, or crane-equipped trucks.
• Forklift operation experience; certification preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and OSHA safety standards.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
• Skilled in pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Capable of conducting job site inspections and reporting conditions.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols.
• Clean driving record (no hit-and-run, DWI, or DUI in the past 36 months).

• CERTIFICATIONS: NCCCO Crane Certification: ABC/ABL certification required.
