Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply is hiring a Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Liberty Hill, TX. The role involves delivering lumber, building materials, and hardware to customers, collecting COD payments, and recording deliveries.

You will load/unload, verify orders, and use GPS/nav tools to reach job sites. Safety, customer service, and forklift certification are required; 23+ age; excellent driving record preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• English language reading/writing sufficient for public interaction.
• Valid driver's license for operated vehicle.
• On-the-job training; levels 1 and 2 positional training.
• Must be 23 years or older; driver eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lumber, building materials, hardware to customers' homes, sites, or business locations.
• Collect COD payments and record customer information per SOP.
• Verify order details and obtain customer signature on delivery ticket.
• Use navigation tools to locate delivery addresses efficiently.
• Load, secure, and unload materials; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Assist in yard/warehouse with stocking and organizing materials.
• Provide customer service and resolve complaints with store staff.
• Comply with safety standards and DOT rules; operate forklift.
• Attend store meetings and training sessions; perform other duties as assigned.
