Job summary

Sage Logistics Co. is seeking professional Class A CDL drivers for a dedicated local opportunity based in Chicago, Illinois. This position offers daily home time, competitive pay, modern equipment, and consistent freight.

You will operate a LocalIntermodal route with home daily and no touch freight, averaging $1,200–$1,400 per week. Duties include safe operation, on-time deliveries, pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining logs; Sage values safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• Acceptable motor vehicle record
• Pass DOT drug screening and background requirements
• Current DOT medical certification
• Ability to meet all applicable FMCSA requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle while complying with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Complete scheduled deliveries accurately and on time.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain electronic logs and required transportation documentation.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and operations personnel.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.
