Salt City Trucking is seeking a Local CDL-A Intermodal Driver to support a Baltimore, MD area operation with daily home time and flexible day/night shifts. Drivers handle intermodal ramp freight, mostly out of Pennsylvania, delivering to and from Baltimore with no-touch and drop-and-hook freight.

Home daily with options for 4-day workweeks and varied shifts. Safety, reliability, and ability to operate container equipment are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Must be comfortable operating intermodal container equipment.
• Must be flexible to work day or night shifts.
• Must be able to safely operate in ramp and container environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate intermodal container equipment and ramps.
• Handle drop-and-hook and preload/live freight.
• Maintain home daily schedule with local runs; primarily PA to Baltimore freight.
• Conduct live load/unload operations when required and manage no-touch freight.
• Shut down at a secured location in home area as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and DOT regulations while delivering containers.

Join a local intermodal operation serving the Baltimore, MD area with daily home time, day and night shift options, and consistent container freight. Drivers work ramp freight primarily out of Pennsylvania, with loads moving to and from the Baltimore area.

Pay Details

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,100-$1,700
• Pay includes $0.61 CPM
• $45 dispatch pay
• Hourly pay package with shift differential also available
