Job summary

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver for local operations based in Lafayette, IN. This role offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and a driver-focused team. Home daily with a Monday–Friday schedule, 6 am–5 pm, occasional Saturdays.

Local route covers Lafayette to Millersburg, IN, with occasional overnight trips to Illinois. Chaining, strapping, and tarping may be required, DOT/FMCSA compliance is mandatory, and benefits include medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k), and a referral

Qualifications

• CDL A license is required and must be valid.
• 2+ years of recent, verifiable CDL A flatbed driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no major violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment on local routes.
• Transport freight per DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform chaining, strapping, and tarping as needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations.
• Meet the physical demands of the role.

TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support Localoperations based in Lafayette, IN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Flatbed Driver Details:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 5 pm, home daily, occasional Saturday if needed
• Route Type: Local, shipping loads daily from Lafayette, IN to Millersburg, IN. Occasional overnight trip for an Illinois route.
• Handling: Chaining, strapping, and tarping experience required, but tarping is only required in inclement weather

CDL A Flatbed Driver Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A
• Experience: 2+years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Equipment Experience: Flatbed experience required
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Flatbed Driver Responsibilities:
