Job summary

Maddox Industrial Transformer is seeking a Local Driver to move loaded and unloaded transformers between storage yards and customers. This role requires a Class A CDL, safe driving, and the ability to work outdoors on a daytime schedule.

Employees will operate a shuttle truck, secure loads, and may run forklifts or cranes as needed. The position offers full-time benefits, overtime, and a team-focused environment that values reliability and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Safety-minded with ability to operate heavy equipment and verify logs.
• Strong communication skills in person, phone, and email.
• Willing to train on forklift and crane as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial shuttle truck between storage yards.
• Secure flatbed loads and communicate with suppliers and other drivers.
• Occasionally operate forklifts and cranes to organize inventory.
• Keep logs and paperwork organized in physical and digital records.
• Work outdoors on a 5-day daytime schedule, with overtime during peak seasons.
