Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Local Class A Driver in Knoxville, TN. You will operate a Class A tractor-trailer with Dry Van equipment, transport OEM automotive parts to local destinations, and ensure on-time, safe deliveries.

The role offers weekly pay and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), EAP, and Staffmark Perkspot access. A valid CDL-A, DOT Medical Card, and a clean driving record are required; 1 year of CDL experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 1 year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)
• No endorsements required

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer with Dry Van equipment
• Transport OEM automotive parts to local destinations
• Ensure freight is delivered safely and on time
• Perform vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Monitor load security throughout transportation
