Job summary

Central Transport is seeking home daily overnight linehaul drivers based in Grand Rapids, MI. As a linehaul driver, you will depart from a Central Transport facility, travel to another terminal, and return home each day to sustain reliable, on-time service.

The role requires 6 months of tractor-trailer experience, HazMat/Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 60 days, and a clean MVR with ability to pass a DOT drug test. A strong safety record is essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months of tractor-trailer experience required.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain within 60 days.
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required.
• No DUI in last 5 years (no more than 1 lifetime).
• Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and hair follicle test.

Responsibilities

• Drive home daily overnight linehaul from Grand Rapids, MI to a Central Transport facility and return to your home terminal.
• Maintain on-time service and safe driving standards to support customer expectations.

As a linehaul driver, you would leave from Grand Rapids, MI, drive to another Central Transport facility, and then return to your home terminal. Our Home-Daily Line Haul Drivers are the backbone of our operation.
