Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Local Class A CDL Driver in Hickory, NC. The role runs Monday through Friday, 7am to 3pm, with possible overtime and pays 23.00 per hour. You will deliver packaging materials locally, perform vehicle inspections, and ensure DOT compliance while providing excellent customer service.

Requirements include a valid CDL-A, DOT medical card, and at least 3 years of CDL experience. The job offers weekly pay and benefits through Staffmark Group.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license required.
• DOT Medical Card required.
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and MVR checked.
• 3 years CDL driving experience preferred.
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents in 3 years.
• No DUI or serious violations in past 5 years.
• No Clearinghouse infractions.
• No cellphone-related tickets.

Responsibilities

• Deliver local route packaging materials.
• Load and unload light freight with pallet jacks/hand trucks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance and accurate documentation.
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
• Follow all safety policies and transportation regulations.
