Job summary

MedTrans, the private fleet of Medline, operates 2,100+ trucks and 50 distribution centers nationwide. The Driver delivers lifesaving medical products to commercial and residential customers, building strong customer relationships with timely, safe deliveries.

The position offers an hourly rate of $29.50 and a Tue-Sat 2am-10:30am schedule, with benefits including health insurance and 401(k). Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience and a valid Class A CDL required.

Qualifications

• Must meet all Federal and State requirements for operating commercial motor vehicles.
• Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations.
• Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure product from the Medline Facility into a truck.
• Safely operate a Class A vehicle between the Medline Facility and multiple customer destinations on a delivery route. Abide by safety regulations and wear safety equipment.
• Unload and deliver product at customer facilities, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide in-person support to the customer - addressing questions/needs and providing documentation upon delivery.
• Communicate with dispatching team regarding adjustments to delivery route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
• Maintain a travel and cargo log in accordance with Federal and State regulations and company policy.
• Perform inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels.
