Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Owensboro, KY is hiring a dedicated SOLO Class A CDL driver for a local, home-daily route. Tractor type is day cab with dry van 53' trailers and no-touch freight on auto parts.

Expect weekly pay with guaranteed minimums ($1385+ per week), plus per-mile, per-stop, and drop & hook bonuses, plus a startup package of benefits after 30 days, PTO from day one, uniforms, boot allowance, and a 401(k) with company match after one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical.
• Pass a Ryder road test.
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position.
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months/2 years/5 years options.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Maintaining accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading if required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
