Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Part Time Truck Driver in Evansville, IN, offering weekly pay and a driving career you can feel good about. This role features $28.27 per hour plus a $6.16 per hour health & wellness stipend, ~27 hours per week, and paid training.

You will drive solo within a 150-mile radius of Evansville, work local home daily, with Day Cabs and Dry Van 53’ trailers, and equipment like pallet jacks. Ryder trains you on needed equipment and supports safety and growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with endorsements.
• Minimum 21 years old and able to pass Ryder drug test.
• Pass Ryder background and motor vehicle checks including drug/alcohol verification.
• Must pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• 9 months experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years in 5 years, OR 5 years in 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions and read/apply policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations and agency rules.
• Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
