Job summary

C.R. England in Waynesboro, VA is hiring a Local CDL-A Target Truck Driver with home daily time. Deliver dry freight to Target stores from the distribution center; loads are preloaded, hook-and-drop, no-touch freight.

Schedule is home daily, five days a week (six during surge). All trucks are automatic and the account operates 24/7. Requires valid Class A CDL, 21 years or older, and 3 months of Class A CDL experience; reliable transportation to commute to the Target DC daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry freight from the Target Distribution Center to Target stores
• All loads are preloaded, hook and drop, no-touch freight
• Set lanes. Drivers average 1772 miles a week
• Schedule: Home Daily
• Drivers will work 5 days a week but during surge they will be working 6 days, with planned day(s) off
• The account operates 24/7 including holidays
• Pay per mile
• Bonus incentives
• All trucks are automatic transmissions, new equipment
