Job summary

Hardinger Trucking is hiring a Local CDL-A driver for Erie, PA, offering home daily delivery routes with consistent pay and dependable equipment.

You will perform local freight deliveries in the Erie area, assist with loading/unloading, and conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections while maintaining accurate logs and complying with DOT and OSHA safety standards. This is a full-time position with weekly pay, no overnight travel, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Flatbed experience is a PLUS but not required.
• Minimum 30,000 miles Class A driving experience.
• 1+ years driving experience preferred.
• Clean safety record (no major DOT accidents in last 3 years).
• No DUI/DWI in past 7 years.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries in the Erie, PA area
• Assist with loading/unloading when needed
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs, trip sheets, and documentation
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers
