Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking local CDL-A drivers for intermodal work out of Compton, CA. You will be home daily with a Monday–Friday schedule and 10–12 hour shifts, starting early morning or evening depending on the shift.

Pay is up to $300 per day with a guaranteed $1,250 per week for the first four weeks. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid time off, sick leave, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 6 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Must obtain TWIC & Hazmat within 60 days (reimbursed).
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal/port work.
• Home daily Monday–Friday schedule.
• Day shift (start 4:00 AM–7:00 AM).
• Night shift (start 6:00 PM–8:00 PM).
• 10–12 hour shifts with drop & hook/no-touch freight.
• Consistent, year-round work.
