Cheeseman Transport is seeking CDL A local drivers to operate in Charlotte, NC, hauling forklifts, tow motors, and parts in 53ft dry van trailers. Drivers are responsible for securing freight within a 250-mile radius and will be paid weekly with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have CDL A license.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Hazmat & tanker endorsements or willing to obtain within 60 days of employment.
• No felony in past 7 years.
• No alcohol-related offense in past 5 years.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver forklifts, tow motors and parts in 53ft dry van trailers within 250 miles of Charlotte, NC.
• Secure freight; no loading/unloading required.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies and DOT regulations.
