Job summary

Thedrivingdesk is hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a local delivery role based in Taunton, Massachusetts. This position offers daily home time, guaranteed minimum weekly hours, and no-touch freight.

You will transport furniture and related merchandise within a 250-mile radius, using day-cab tractors and 53-foot trailers. Starting pay is $28 per hour with overtime at $42, and average annual earnings around $80,000.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 6 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Reside within ~30 miles of Taunton, MA 02718.
• Available for a 5:00 PM start and occasional weekends.
• No-touch freight; training provided for trailer equipment.
• Must meet DOT and company safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Transport furniture and related merchandise within a 250-mile radius of Taunton, MA.
• Operate day-cab tractors with 53-foot trailers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain records.
• Coordinate with dispatch for deliveries and schedules.
