Job summary
Cornerstone Driver Solutions is seeking an experienced CDL-A local driver for Charlotte, NC. You’ll operate dedicated local routes for a major retail account with home daily, no-touch freight, and strong earnings potential based on mileage and additional pay opportunities.
Earn $0.70 CPM plus pay for stops, detention, TONU, and bonuses. Orientation pay of $1,000 and a $2,000 hiring & longevity bonus are available, with overtime after 40 hours and opportunities for yard switcher roles as
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A) with 12+ months of CDL-A experience
- Acceptable driving and safety history
- Meet DOT/FMCSA requirements
- Reliable transportation to the Charlotte, NC location
- Ability to operate Qualcomm/electronic logs and related systems
Responsibilities
- Operate dedicated local routes for a major retail account in Charlotte, NC
- Safely drive and operate company equipment
- Complete local pickups and deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain electronic logs and communicate with dispatch
- Follow DOT/FMCSA and account safety procedures
- Perform drop-and-hook operations when assigned
- Adhere to all freight handling guidelines for no-touch freight
