Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Utah is hiring for a local Walmart account with 100% home daily nights, plus options for afternoons. This position offers 50–60 hours weekly, a 6th day for overtime, and weekend work on this fleet.

We provide 100% no-touch intermodal freight within a 150-mile radius, with slip-seat daycabs and ramp activity. A valid CDL-A, DOT medical card, and a clean driving record are required; hazmat is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT Medical Card.
• Residency within 25 miles of dispatch yard.
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.
• Solid driving record and ability to pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Freight Handling: 100% No-Touch Freight (live loads/unloads, preloads, and drop-and-hook).
• Running Radius: within 150 miles of yard.
• Common Loops: regional hub drops to other yards.
• Ramp Operations: occasional 30–60 minute waits when mounting containers.
