Crucial Link in Akron, OH is seeking a dependable Class A CDL Driver for local routes, home every night. The truck is a New Freightliner with automatic transmission.

The role requires at least two years of CDL-A experience, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety and timely communication with dispatch and customers. Work hours are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with starting pay $25–$26 per hour and room for advancement based on responsibility.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum two years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Clean driving history.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
• Report to the truck’s location in Akron, Ohio.
• Availability to work between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with applicable traffic laws and transportation regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Transport loads safely and follow assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured before departure.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation as required.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery progress, delays, and route changes.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and work environment.
