Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking an experienced CDL A Truck Driver for a local distribution role based in the Texas area. You will perform pre-/post-trip inspections, safely transport goods, and plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Must have a safe driving record / clear MVR.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Able to operate an 18-wheel tractor / trailer to deliver and pick up products from the stores.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 53ft. tractor / trailer.
• Must be willing to workweekends, nights, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods from one location to another.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules.
• Report any issues or incidents to the dispatch team.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
